Lazy Sunday Shadow Play

I've done a lot of nothing today. It's Spring Break, but my only beach excursion is in my SL sim. I broke out the old surfboard... but the ridable waves are missing in my inventory :(  and there is very little wind.

I've given up messing with the Lolas... I'll wait until Curio makes some applies or something easier comes along. Anyhow....I've also stopped messing with the mesh clothes that aren't perfect and require massive body changes. Then.. dance or pose a little unusual, and the flaws all show:(   Too much fiddling with clothing and attachments! Things are suppose to get easier not harder in SL... LOL.

But I bought some new hair today from Analog Dog, called Ashbury. There's a mesh main part and a flexi attachment which makes for very nice movement. LUV it just like my RL hair when it's ironed and brushed. It's what caused my visit to the beach.

Then I decided to mess around with Windlight and shadows. Turned up the heat.... can feel that blinding sun :))

Got Me Some Lolas :)

Well... after visiting Whore Couture Fair in the early hours, I pulled out my Lolas from inventory. I bought the girls a few weeks ago and hadn't had the time to figure out if I like them or not. If you go shopping at The Whore Couture Fair, you'll find a need to have Lolas' mesh breasts, just about all the clothes are made for them. What a marketing ploy!

Anyhow, I have seem some very tastefully done photos (no photoshop used here), and here is my attempt.

The top is The Mini Jacket from *T Whore* (main store link) comes with applier. Shoes are Maitreya Gold - Moxie in Coal, Skirt is from e! Chloe - previously at FaMeShEd, Skin is Curio and hair is from Truth.

At what size point do Lolas get to be ridiculous? bizarre? comical?

REALLLLLY NICE Valentine Freebie Gift From Prim and Pixel

I found this yesterday, and it IS so awesome. The jacket and shirt are one mesh piece with a texture change HUD to change the shirt.

The black jeans are system pants (I actually prefer). The optional belt also changes colors by a touch menu. I'm very impressed and will return to Prim and Pixel Designs to buy such cleverly designed outfits with extremely well done textures. AND there appears to be a male version.

Lazy Sunday Lounging Around

Ever notice the word "lingerie"? I know it's French, but I remember to spell it from the word linger. But men never seem to figure that out. Once you put on a piece of lingerie, the game is to get your guy to linger more than a couple minutes... before it all comes off.

Well today I am showing some pictures from (finally) my move to Firestorm from Phoenix. I had to spend several hours getting all my preferences just so.... but the results.... easy shadows :) Yes, you can teach an old dog new tricks. 

Yes, I surrendered to Gos shoes, and yes, they are awesome. These are the sandles in mirror.  A perfect match to my favorite skin from Curio, (Sundust Summer Smolder). I have added extra freckles from a tatoo. Hair is from Truth (Brianna - Blonds with roots). My undies and bangles are from a Lucky Boards at Sakide.

Just to post another shot of this skin, Summer Sundust Smolder Frex. No, this shot is not from a "teeth version" of skin or make-up, but from my Mika emoter, which smiles and does an occasional grin. Sorry no current URL, I've had this attachment since 2007. I am so glad Gala is back. I request more blonde eyebrows, please.

Love My Warm Sweater and I Thank the Sheep

I often read Honour McMillian’s blog. Today, she took us to Higher Resources, previously known as Inis Caiseal., a sim I had long forgotten. It’s an Irish countryside with rain (usually) because it reflects whatever the weather is in RL. I just had to go for a wander in the rain.

I am surrounded by so many memories.

How does one stitch together a new home when there are so many things that are the warmth and the creative flow from a love which I have said good-bye? All these years... all the exploring and learning... and loving. 

I will move on, but it's too early to clean house.
