The SL14B Shopping Event

The week long SL14B party event is coming up this weekend. The sims open on noon on Sunday. But in the meantime, open since the 5th, are the 3 shopping areas "Shop Until You Drop" event. The very best designers have stores, discounts, and freebies there.

SL14B Coming Soon!

I'm back in full swing in Second Life for the ultimate party - The SL14B. Come celebrate OUR birthday!

This is the best place to be for the most diverse group of Second Life residents presenting music, art, live shows, community talks, exhibits, freebies, a hunt, and so much more.

The party is on all day and all night, you can always find something to do. Come dance or just hang out to a variety of music genres on 4 Stages. I know we will be catering to every music taste on the DJ stage.

All the information is HERE  The applications are still open for performers and DJs, as of today. We are looking especially for those who can perform in the wee hours of SL. (midnight to 8AM SLT)

Pool Party for the Crew of The DJ Stage for SL13B

Yesterday, we had a pool party for the crew, over half of us were able to make it. It was a fun way for us to get to know one another. It was a blast! We had DJs, taking turns, beer, wine, burgers, and splashing around in the pool. I can't wait for the BIG Celebration for the SL13B. We are going to ROCK the event!

Snow Has Come to the Mountain Meadow

It has been  long time since a blog post. It is a very busy season. I spent some time today putting snow in my mountain meadow. Things hide in the inventory.

This first pic is my favorite freebie find of the hunts so far.

One of my favorite builds is done by my neighbors Dusty Canning and Camsie Melody in Gypsum, The Pot Dealer. The beginning of the interactive build has you seeing the pots coming off the potter's wheel. 

A mechanical man on a skate board, then spray paints the clay.

Without giving away all the fun, there are several things to "play" with, but be careful, not everyone leaves with one of these colorful pots as a gift:))

Tommorrow - Burn2 Opens - The Second Life Celebration of Burning Man

It was press day today, and I only have time to leave some images.

The Burn is about Radical Inclusion, Gifting, Decommodification, Radical Self-Reliance, Radical Self-Expression, Communal Effort, Civic Responsibility, Leaving No Trace, Participation, and Immediacy.

The Man

will burn a week from Saturday in one of the most awesome light and fire works shows in Second Life.

Here's a description of some of the builds, but it is an incomplete list, There's so much more to take in. 

The following are pictures by Mangala Taurog, truly an impressive, warm, and richly textured build (LM HERE). The music, intricacies, and variety of the kasbah experience only lacks the smells. I highly recommend taking the time to explore.

After you complete the maze for "The Valley of the Temple of Ra" you will find a wonderful Egyptian temple, and an awesome gift necklace, "Breathe of Life"

This build is the beautiful fractally (?) textured, "Silk Roads Rest Stop".

Sneak Peek at The Kiva - BURN2

BURN2 Opens October 1

Here I am waiting in a deck chair in front of my build/camp, The Kiva. I still have some tweaking to do, but worked on a gift this morning for the Schwag Department, tent of gifts. Beware - Schwag does rhyme with lag. My FireFlower bracelet has animated textures.

My camp does have a huge couch which anyone can crash out on. Syn and I enjoy the fire on my version of a big blue couch.

It's exciting to watch the building and tweaking going on for Burn2. My couch includes some jumping animations, so appropriate for my camp address, Kindergarten and 7:30!    cya on the Playa!

Happy 4th of July - gift from Felicity

Well taking a break in RL, was painting baseboards. Wish I was drinking mimosas on the beach! Oh well! These cute shoes are a group gift from Felicity. The stripe bikini is an old freebie from A-Bomb. Hair by Tructh, skin Curio.

Coco has the best freebies (join group). When I was opening the boxes, WOW! after WOW! All things are mod/copy, clothes on every layer! I love this turtle neck and belt (both free). Very little adjusting needed on prims. Thank You, Coco! I went right back and bought these boots (L380), but sooo worth it.
