Lazy Sunday Shadow Play

I've done a lot of nothing today. It's Spring Break, but my only beach excursion is in my SL sim. I broke out the old surfboard... but the ridable waves are missing in my inventory :(  and there is very little wind.

I've given up messing with the Lolas... I'll wait until Curio makes some applies or something easier comes along. Anyhow....I've also stopped messing with the mesh clothes that aren't perfect and require massive body changes. Then.. dance or pose a little unusual, and the flaws all show:(   Too much fiddling with clothing and attachments! Things are suppose to get easier not harder in SL... LOL.

But I bought some new hair today from Analog Dog, called Ashbury. There's a mesh main part and a flexi attachment which makes for very nice movement. LUV it just like my RL hair when it's ironed and brushed. It's what caused my visit to the beach.

Then I decided to mess around with Windlight and shadows. Turned up the heat.... can feel that blinding sun :))

SL9B Party is in Full Swing (and Lag)

:( I have not been able to participate. Currently I'm on RL vacation and with limited access time, (I am on vacation) I can tether my laptop via my phone, but not for long at the SL9B. Hopefully traffic will die down and I can be a Greeter later this week. Like at Walmart, Greeters can offer you a cart, just ask, and you can receive this teleporter board and/or a similar hud. The board can help you choose what sims are not jammed, to get a less crowded landing point. Happy partying, the birthday cake is 4 sims big!

What a Week on the Playa

I'm already feeling the ebb of the energy that created this year's Playa. "Tis wonderful" and can't get enough. Each year I grow closer to "the burn" and love more the community that creates  this "world".

(small aside, I love how I can modify my gift necklace:))

TuTu Tuesday

Started the day at the diner, with an eerie feeling that rustle on my thighs would be more than the fat making a deposit of extra cream from the latte.

I went home to be sure I could still squeeze into those tights.

Back on the Playa,  I took a stroll Rangering, and Lo! it was Puterdoc sporting a tutu. He was acting so nonchalant, like, what lag? (not a normal for a comment from a putergeek). 

and then....

and then, OH, MY!... I knew, it was too, too, Tutu Tuesday, entirely too well.

Coco has the best freebies (join group). When I was opening the boxes, WOW! after WOW! All things are mod/copy, clothes on every layer! I love this turtle neck and belt (both free). Very little adjusting needed on prims. Thank You, Coco! I went right back and bought these boots (L380), but sooo worth it.

Sometimes I Amaze Myself

The top photo is my tweeked windlight settings. The middle is Caliah Lyon's blogged on several blogs, and some stores are handing out links to get it. The bottom is the Wind Light default. Mid-day light is entirely washed out in Caliah's. Sunrise seemed to show her's the best, but I like mine better! Maybe her's is for ambient lights for photography...
