Costume Time

I needed a costume yesterday for an event and pulled this together with a couple of buys from 60 Linden Weekends and things I found in my inventory. I think it may be my staple this week for Halloween:)

 My so loved Curio Skin. (yes a die-hard) with added freckles, eye shadow, eye liner and lip gloss.

This year I'm going for the dark goddess look. The corset and skirt is by Lokii Violet at Arcadia. (tinted) (60L Weekend find). The boots - Adrianna by Pure Poison.

Baby Monkey Winter Solstice Hunt

There are so many freebies and gifts this season. Here is one I especially like from Baby Monkey. There's a mesh sweater, dress, and leggings, with an optional systems layer for the leggings. I wear this with my favorite boots (not free) of the season, Anais, (w/color/fabric change hud) also from Baby Monkey.

I was so pleased to see that Gala was still creating. Curio skins are my favorites, they fit my shape the best. For those of us that have our own unique shapes, we know that skins play on different shapes, differently. I am wearing the group gift, Sunburst-Angelica-Happy Holidays-Blonde, with L.Fauna Extra freckles.

Mother's Day in the Garden

Me and Mr Squirrel :) We're friends again, the acorns have now sprouted, and no longer his stored food, but weeds in my garden. Planted some new things today both in RL and SL.

I'm Not Here

Spring in my mountain meadow, time to enjoy the flowers, birds, and other sounds of nature. Yesterday, I did some old-fashioned sim hopping. While looking for a place to listen to music, I stumbled upon Ionic; not only do they have cool Indy music to shop by, they have cool Indy merchandise;) I just had to pick up this mesh T-Shirt from one of my favorite bands, Radiohead.

I must caution you when you look at the credits to other things I am wearing, because I mod whatever I can. I am a fan of mesh hair because it stays, and doesn't jab your body like a knife when dancing or moving around, but it lacks movement itself. Some designer have flexi pieces that you can add on. This hair is from Truth, with flexi  pieces from other Truth hair that I modded in from a copy version. And look! it flounces around while I'm in my swing.

Why I Have a Hard Time Liking Prim Skirts

I came across this lovely scarf dress. I just love the colors, it's so spring-like. The shoes are from the Easter Egg Hunt at Baby Monkey.

The skirt even has inside out doubled sculpted prims, but I guess this problem is what we hope mesh to solve. It is extremely well done, I love it! Just watch how you shake that booty.
